The AX122 is the companion subwoofer for AX Series loudspeakers. This compact unit features advanced, high power drivers producing an exceptional amount of output. While the operating range is specified to 128 Hz when used with full-range AX products, the AX122 is capable of extended response to serve as an LF subsystem for MF/HF loudspeakers. Drivers are mounted in a "clam shell" driver arrangement for tighter driver coupling to increase output and improve impact. A massive port radiates the considerable energy needed at the enclosure's tuning frequency.
