The NuQ-6 is an ultra-compact passive loudspeaker system consisting of a front-loaded 6.5" neodymium low frequency driver and a 1" neodymium high frequency compression driver on a rotatable 90°H x 60°V Converging Elliptical Waveguide™ matched with an internal passive crossover network.

When used with Turbosound LMS Series controllers the NuQ-6 provides optimum performance for small applications with considerable flexibility to adapt to varying venue requirements, and is particularly effective as part of a high performance sound reinforcement package together with B-12DP subwoofer cabinets. The B-12DP includes a 2 x 1250w Class D amplifier module with integral DSP which provides sufficient power to drive up to four NuQ-6 satellite speakers. In addition a high degree of system control can be achieved by integrating NuQ loudspeakers into a BVNet network using TurboDrive™ control software.

The HF waveguide can be rotated through 90° within the enclosure, making it possible to swap the horizontal and vertical coverage patterns. The cabinet is finished in black or optional white semi-matt textured paint, and includes a steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam. Its asymmetrical shape, together with the rotatable HF horn pattern, creates an additional role for monitor wedge or lip-fill applications. The cabinet includes multiple rigging points for use with optional flying yokes and swivel brackets, and includes three Speakon NL4MP connectors.
