The AMX NMX-ATC-N4321D-C Audio-over-IP Transceiver Card is a highly versatile and powerful solution designed to bridge independent IP and analog audio networks. With support for Dante, AES67, and PCM audio-over-IP streams, as well as balanced and unbalanced analog audio, the N4321D-C provides a seamless integration of different audio network standards. Whether your project requires conversion from PCM to Dante, Dante to analog, analog to AES67, or any combination of these technologies, this transceiver simplifies the integration of SVSI solutions with existing audio networks, ensuring smooth interoperability across diverse environments.
Designed for both point-to-point and point-to-multi-point audio delivery, the NMX-ATC-N4321D-C empowers powerful audio matrix switching and distribution capabilities. It uses the same control options as SVSI's Networked AV video switching and distribution solutions, providing a unified and efficient management approach for both video and audio components. The inclusion of an open API makes the N4321D-C compatible with any AMX or third-party controllers, offering flexible integration options for a variety of AV control systems.
With two auto-sensing gigabit Ethernet ports, the N4321D-C allows for low-latency, multi-channel audio bridging between separate networks. One of these Ethernet ports supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), which eliminates the need for an external power supply. This feature significantly simplifies installation by allowing a single network cable to carry both power and audio signals, making the system more efficient and cost-effective. Whether used in small installations or larger, more complex audio systems, the N4321D-C can be integrated into any network setup with ease.
The NMX-ATC-N4321D-C offers extensive audio connectivity, including 2-channel user-selectable balanced or unbalanced audio, 2-channel Dante/AES67 audio, and 8-channel PCM audio inputs. Outputs include 2-channel balanced audio (via a 5-pin Phoenix connector), 2-channel Dante/AES67 audio, 8-channel PCM audio, and 2-channel unbalanced audio via a headphone jack. The analog-to-digital conversion is performed at 16-bit depth with sample rates of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, and 48 kHz, providing superior audio fidelity for both professional and consumer-grade applications. The unit also supports 48V phantom power on each of the input audio pins, allowing it to power professional microphones and other sensitive audio equipment.
Latency is kept to a minimum, with audio latency as low as 20ms (excluding network propagation), ensuring that the transceiver performs optimally in real-time applications. The N4321D-C supports multicast, unicast, IGMP v3, IPv6, and is compatible with both layer-2 and layer-3 switches, providing a high degree of flexibility for network integration. The device is equipped with essential indicators on both the front and rear panels to monitor power, software activity, audio transmission, and reception, ensuring easy troubleshooting and monitoring during operation.
The NMX-ATC-N4321D-C is available in a black finish, and its compact form factor offers a variety of mounting options, including standalone, surface mount, wall mount, or rack mount, making it adaptable to any installation environment. PoE+ support ensures an efficient power solution, while the 12V DC power input offers an alternative powering option when needed. With its ability to bridge multiple audio standards, low-latency performance, and flexible control options, the AMX NMX-ATC-N4321D-C is a powerful tool for modern AV installations that require audio network integration and transcoding capabilities.
