ART Pro Audio Digital MPA-II - 2-Channel Tube Microphone Preamp with A/D Conversion

The ART Digital MPA-II combines the beloved features of the ProMPA with enhanced digital capabilities. Just like its predecessor, the Digital MPA-II boasts 48v phantom power on each input, alongside variable input impedance to tailor the performance of dynamic or ribbon microphones to your liking.

This versatile preamp can be configured for dual mono or stereo operation, with the option for mid/side mic support and channel summing to decode left/right signals. With the ability to switch between low and high plate voltages, the two integrated hand-selected 12AX7 tubes offer a wide range of preamp tones and performance variations.

Stay informed with large back-lit analog VU meters displaying output levels, while multi-colored LED arrays indicate tube gain and digital output levels with average or peak hold options. The Digital MPA-II goes beyond analog, featuring high-quality A to D conversion for digital connectivity via S/PDIF, ADAT, or AES/EBU outputs.

Easily control format and sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz with the front panel rotary selector, and enjoy added flexibility with two word clock jacks for loop-through. Housed in a sleek 2u rack-mountable steel chassis with a CNC routed black anodized aluminum face panel, the Digital MPA-II is both powerful and elegant, perfect for any professional studio setup.
