The Autoscript EVO-IP17 is a high-performance, integrated 17-inch prompt monitor designed for modern broadcast applications. With a depth of just 41.5mm, the EVO-IP17 is the slimmest broadcast prompt monitor available, making it an excellent choice when space is limited or when minimizing the weight of on-camera systems is a priority.

The EVO-IP17 is an Intelligent Prompting device that connects directly to the WinPlus-IP software application via an IP network, eliminating the need for an external scroll engine. This direct network integration enables the monitor to display smooth, high-quality prompter video with perfect synchronization, ensuring a seamless operation. It also features HD-SDI and Composite video inputs for flexible connectivity with other broadcast equipment. The monitor's rear panel has been redesigned for improved cable management, while the quick-release mechanism allows for easy attachment and detachment from the mounting system, making setup and breakdown faster than ever.

As part of the Intelligent Prompting system, the EVO-IP17 comes with Autoscript's new mounting system and carbon fibre hood. This well-engineered system has been designed to reduce the number of parts, simplify setup, and improve efficiency. The integrated carbon fibre hood protects the monitor glass and reduces the lens opening at the back of the hood, offering improved access for hand grip control or for pan bar zoom/focus control. The lens is sealed using a flexible ring, allowing for a secure fit that minimizes distractions and ensures clear delivery of the script.

One of the standout features of the EVO-IP17 is its folding hood design, which minimizes the time required for setup, making it ideal for time-sensitive applications. This design also offers protection for the glass during transportation, ensuring that the system remains in top condition when on the move. The system supports a wide range of camera lenses, including the 4.3mm focal length, without the need for counterbalances in most camera/lens configurations, reducing weight and simplifying the overall setup.

The EVO-IP17 integrates seamlessly with the optional CLOCKPLUS-IP timecode, tally, and camera number display system (sold separately). This integration provides a unified and visually attractive solution for time, tally, and camera ID displays. With four integrated tally lights providing 270-degree visibility around the monitor, communication between the talent and operator is enhanced, ensuring smooth live production and teleprompting operations.

For flexibility and future upgrades, the EVO-IP17 allows for the addition of an EPIC-IP talent monitor (ETM) system, making it easy to scale and upgrade to a more advanced configuration when needed. The monitor also features excellent performance specifications, including a brightness of 1500 NITS for the prompt display, and a 700:1 contrast ratio, ensuring clear readability of scripts in any lighting condition.
