The Avid Venue E6L-144 Engine is a 5U rackmount DSP powerhouse designed to drive mid-size live productions with world-class audio quality, flexible system architecture, and unmatched reliability. At the heart of its processing power is one included HDX-192 DSP Expansion Card, with support for up to two total cards. These cards power 400 plugin slots that support native 64-bit AAX DSP plugins, allowing engineers to run their favorite effects in real time. Integration with Waves SoundGrid systems is also supported via the optional WSG-HD card or through MADI. The E6L-144 offers 48 VCAs and stereo solo busses for detailed mix control, while 31-band graphic EQs are available across all outputs and matrix channels, giving engineers complete flexibility for system tuning and zone shaping.

The engine features full input and output processing chains, including HEAT (Harmonically Enhanced Algorithm Technology), high- and low-pass filters, 4- and 7-band parametric EQs, Expander/Gate, Compressor/Limiter, delay, and up to eight plugin inserts per channel - plus hardware inserts with both pre- and post-fade support. With two AVB-192 Ethernet network cards included, the E6L-144 offers a total of four ports that can be configured as etherCON (copper) or SFP (fiber) for flexible, redundant connectivity and long-distance audio networking.

For live recording and Virtual Soundcheck workflows, the E6L-144 supports up to 128 channels of Pro Tools integration over Ethernet AVB.
