The Ayrton Ghibli S is a groundbreaking 600W LED moving head spot luminaire designed to offer unparalleled versatility and performance for demanding entertainment and architectural lighting applications. Featuring a high-output monochromatic LED source calibrated at 8000K, the Ghibli S delivers powerful metallic white light with an impressive output of 23,000 lumens and a color temperature of 7000K, making it a perfect choice for both indoor and outdoor events. The compact design of the Ghibli S, combined with its high efficiency, ensures that it performs optimally while occupying a minimal footprint in your lighting rig.
At the core of the Ghibli S is a proprietary optical system, which consists of 13 high-quality lenses, including a 137 mm frontal lens that helps to produce a uniform, flat beam with no hot spots. This system achieves an impressive 8:1 zoom ratio with a zoom range of 7° to 56°, providing exceptional flexibility in beam shaping. The optics have been specially engineered to reduce distortion, particularly in wide zoom settings, delivering crisp, clear light projections for a variety of effects. Whether you need tight, intense beams or soft washes, the Ghibli S offers precise control over the beam's characteristics.
The Ghibli S is packed with advanced features designed to meet the needs of professional lighting designers. The CMY color mixing system, combined with a variable CTO, allows for seamless color temperature adjustment, ensuring that the luminaire can produce a wide spectrum of colors ranging from warm to cool tones. In addition to the CMY system, the Ghibli S includes a fixed color wheel with six complementary colors and a new filter that optimizes the color rendering index (CRI), ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction. With these features, the Ghibli S excels in applications requiring perfect color reproduction, such as concerts, theatre productions, and TV broadcasts.
For further creative flexibility, the Ghibli S includes a sophisticated framing system with four individually positionable shutter blades. These blades can be adjusted to cover a 100% surface area, allowing users to frame objects with precision regardless of the luminaire's position. The system provides complete control over the shape of the light, enabling users to create sharp, clean cuts or smooth, seamless blends for a wide range of design possibilities.
The Ghibli S also features a comprehensive gobo system, with 18 interchangeable HD glass gobos across two wheels: a rotating gobo wheel with seven positions and a fixed gobo wheel with 11 positions. The rotating gobo system can be adjusted in both directions for dynamic gobo effects, while the fixed gobo wheel offers additional versatility for sharp, detailed projections. The gobo system is complemented by a continuous dynamic effect wheel, a 15-blade iris diaphragm, two frost filters (light and heavy), and two rotating prisms, one circular with 5 facets and one linear with 4 facets, all of which contribute to an extensive range of lighting effects.
Designed with both performance and durability in mind, the Ghibli S features an advanced phase-change liquid cooling system, which uses a heat pipe to efficiently dissipate heat while maintaining quiet operation. The cooling system includes self-adjusting variable speed fans that provide effective cooling while minimizing noise, making the Ghibli S an ideal choice for environments where sound control is important, such as broadcast studios or intimate venues.
The Ghibli S offers precise and smooth movement thanks to its high-resolution stepper motors, which are controlled via microprocessors for accurate positioning. The moving head offers infinite pan rotation (540°) and a tilt range of 270°, allowing for full coverage of the performance area and smooth, dynamic movement. The Ghibli S is also equipped with an intuitive control system that supports DMX, RDM, ArtNet, and sACN protocols, offering flexibility for integration into various lighting setups. Whether used in stand-alone mode, as part of a master/slave system, or via remote control, the Ghibli S ensures seamless operation in any environment.
The Ghibli S is housed in a sleek, compact body made of die-cast aluminum, which provides both strength and lightweight properties. Its IP20 protection rating ensures the fixture remains durable in indoor settings, while its rugged construction makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including live performances, architectural lighting, and television productions.
