Instead of a conventional horn, the DV12-MK3 uses a line-array-derived 1.4-inch throat isophasic waveguide coupled with a 3-inch diaphragm Neodymium motor compression driver. This combination provides wide horizontal coverage of 120° and a narrow vertical coverage of 20°, delivering consistent and clear high-frequency response across a large area. The result is exceptional intelligibility and coverage, extending high-frequency clarity farther than typical horn-loaded systems. Low-frequency reproduction is handled by a high-efficiency 12-inch Neodymium woofer with a 4-inch voice coil and a symmetrical, long-excursion suspension. The Neodymium magnet ensures the driver remains lightweight, while the long-excursion suspension provides accurate, extended bass response - so much so that the woofer could easily function as a subwoofer driver.
