The DB Technologies DVA T12 is a high-performance 1500W 12-inch powered 3-way line array loudspeaker designed for professional sound reinforcement applications that demand powerful sound output and clarity over large areas. As a step up from the successful DVA T4 system, the DVA T12 delivers significantly more power and greater range, while maintaining the ease of setup and scalability that users have come to expect from the DVA series. This active line array module is packed with state-of-the-art features, including neodymium drivers, high-end Digipro G2 amplifiers, and advanced digital signal processing (DSP) technology, making it a versatile solution for both small and large sound setups.

At the core of the DVA T12 is its active 3-way design, which ensures precise control over each frequency range for an optimized sound experience. A powerful 12-inch neodymium woofer with a 3-inch voice coil is housed in a band-pass enclosure, delivering punchy low frequencies that extend down to 60 Hz. The unique slanted design of the woofer inside the housing not only enhances its performance but also gives the cabinet a sleek and unobtrusive appearance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including full-range setups without the need for additional subwoofers in some cases.

The midrange is handled by two 6.5-inch neodymium drivers with 2-inch voice coils, positioned closely together to maximize coherent coupling and improve the response in the critical midrange frequencies. These drivers are housed in sealed baskets to optimize the displacement volume, resulting in faster response and more accurate transient reproduction. Each driver is equipped with an optimized phase plug and feeds into a front-loaded horn, ensuring uniform coverage and consistent sound projection. This precise midrange reproduction ensures that vocals and instruments are delivered with clarity and presence, even in large and complex sound environments.

For the high frequencies, the DVA T12 is equipped with three 1-inch high-frequency drivers, each with a 1.4-inch voice coil. These drivers are specially tuned and mounted to a custom-designed constant directivity (CD) horn, which enhances the coupling of the drivers' outputs and extends the range of the high-frequency signal. The result is crystal-clear highs with extended reach, ensuring that even the farthest audience members experience excellent sound quality. The high-frequency section is capable of delivering precise and intelligible sound over large distances, making the DVA T12 an ideal choice for long-throw applications.

The DVA T12's powerful sound reproduction is driven by its high-efficiency Digipro G2 Class D amplifiers, which provide a total of 1500W RMS power. This includes 710W RMS dedicated to the low-frequency woofer, 350W RMS for the midrange drivers, and 350W RMS for the high-frequency section. The amplifiers are cooled via convection, ensuring silent operation while maintaining optimal thermal performance even under heavy use. This high output power, combined with the advanced DSP, allows the DVA T12 to reach a maximum SPL of 136 dB, making it suitable for large venues, outdoor events, and high-demand sound reinforcement applications.

The onboard 56-bit DSP processor handles all signal processing duties, including 24-bit/96 kHz AD/DA conversion for pristine audio quality. The DSP offers eight system presets, allowing users to adjust the high-frequency and low-mid corrections to suit different acoustic environments. Additionally, the DSP provides precise crossover management, with crossover points set at 420 Hz between the low and mid frequencies, and at 1800 Hz between the mid and high frequencies, both with 24 dB/octave slopes. The dual active limiter system (RMS, Peak, Thermal) ensures that the system operates safely and efficiently, even when pushed to its limits.

The DVA T12 is also network-ready, with integrated RDNet ports for remote control and monitoring via the RDNet system. This allows sound engineers to remotely adjust system settings, monitor performance, and ensure optimal operation of the loudspeakers in real-time, making the DVA T12 an excellent choice for complex sound systems that require precise control and flexibility.

The rugged housing of the DVA T12 is made from polypropylene reinforced with aluminum, providing durability and lightweight construction. The trapezoidal 10° design allows for easy installation in flown arrays, and the integrated rigging hardware ensures fast and secure setup.
