The DB Technologies LVX P8 is a 200W 8-inch passive 2-way installation loudspeaker, designed to offer superior sound performance for speech, live, or background music in medium to large venues. As an evolution of the wooden LVX active series, the LVX P8 delivers high-quality audio output through its premium components, featuring a clear and detailed acoustic response that makes it suitable for a range of sound reinforcement applications. Its compact size, combined with a powerful output, makes it ideal for fixed installations in venues such as conference rooms, auditoriums, and houses of worship.
The LVX P8 features a 90°x70° dispersion pattern, allowing even sound distribution across the venue. The rotatable horn ensures consistent high-frequency coverage, even when the speaker is installed horizontally. This flexibility in installation is further supported by its solid plywood enclosure, designed for both durability and visual appeal. The sleek, clean design makes it unobtrusive, while the 12 integrated M8-thread rigging points and an optional mounting bracket system (WB-LP10H or VB-LP810V) ensure easy and secure installation, whether horizontally or vertically.
With a peak power of 400W and a maximum SPL of 122 dB, the LVX P8 delivers robust sound performance, while maintaining clarity and definition across its frequency range of 74 Hz to 18,000 Hz. The speaker is equipped with an 8-inch low-frequency driver with a 1.5" voice coil and a 1" high-frequency driver for smooth audio reproduction. The cabinet includes a 36 mm pole mount plate and an integrated handle on the back for portability and ease of use in temporary setups or mobile applications.
All LVX P series enclosures, including the LVX P8, are available in both black and white finishes, providing aesthetic versatility for different installation environments. The speaker features Speakon input and output connectors for seamless integration into a professional audio system, ensuring high-quality signal transmission.
