The dB Technologies Vio L212 is a 1600W Dual 12-inch 3-way powered line array loudspeaker, engineered for large-scale sound reinforcement applications. Combining advanced DSP technology, high-efficiency components, and intelligent rigging systems, the Vio L212 ensures outstanding audio performance, coverage accuracy, and ease of setup. Designed for touring professionals, this system delivers impressive sound pressure levels, optimized coverage behaVior, and seamless compatibility with other Vio series modules like the Vio L210 and L208, offering flexible configurations for different venue sizes and acoustic demands.
The Vio L212 is equipped with two premium 12-inch neodymium low-frequency transducers, delivering powerful and extended low-end response. Its midrange section features four 6.5-inch neodymium drivers, while the high frequencies are handled by two 1.4-inch compression drivers with 3-inch voice coils, providing precise and controlled high-frequency reproduction. The midrange drivers are horn-loaded, increasing acoustic efficiency and ensuring accurate coverage, while the waveguide design guarantees maximum HF directivity control for long throw applications.
The system is powered by a 3200W RMS Digipro G4 Class-D amplifier, delivering 1600W RMS to the low-frequency section and 1600W RMS to the midrange and high-frequency drivers. This bi-amped configuration, combined with the advanced DSP, ensures pristine audio reproduction with high headroom and minimal distortion, even at maximum SPLs of up to 142 dB. The DSP processing incorporates FIR linear phase filters for phase-coherent sound across all frequencies, ensuring accurate and intelligible audio in any environment. Additionally, the system is equipped with a built-in RDNet card for real-time remote control and monitoring via Aurora Net software, and it is ready for future upgrades with the optional Audinate Dante AoIP protocol for networked audio setups.
To simplify setup and configuration, the Vio L212 features built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) proximity sensors and a front LED identification system, allowing users to easily recognize and match the physical positions of each box within an array. The system also includes a magnetic rubber rain cover for protection during outdoor use. With integrated 3-point rigging hardware and a built-in inclinometer, the Vio L212 ensures quick and precise installation, making it ideal for fast-paced touring environments. Furthermore, the Vio L212 is acoustically compatible with Vio L210 and Vio L208 modules, allowing them to be used as down-fill or side-fill cabinets in hybrid systems, offering a versatile solution for larger PAs.
