The JBL Professional AM7315/64 is a high-performance, 3-way passive installation loudspeaker system, engineered to deliver exceptional sound quality and coverage for fixed installation applications. It features a robust design with a 15-inch Differential Drive low-frequency driver (2265H), an 8-inch CMCD cone midrange compression driver, and a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit, 75 mm (3 in) voice-coil high-frequency compression driver (2437H). This combination of advanced components ensures the AM7315/64 provides excellent performance across the entire frequency spectrum, from deep bass to clear highs, while minimizing distortion. The system is equipped with JBL's multi-band Progressive Transition (PT) waveguide, offering 60° x 40° coverage with low distortion and well-controlled directivity, making it ideal for a variety of professional audio applications.

The AM7315/64's PT waveguide is rotatable, allowing the speaker to be oriented in either vertical or horizontal positions, providing versatility for different installations. The high-slope crossovers in the system minimize band overlap, while the well-controlled off-axis response enhances arrayability, making it suitable for large-scale installations where multiple units may be deployed. The trapezoidal design of the enclosure, with 15-degree side angles, helps minimize standing waves and provides optimal sound projection. The speaker is equipped with 13 M10 threaded suspension points (three at the top, three at the bottom, two on each side, and three at the rear), enabling easy and secure installation. The 14-gauge perforated steel grille, backed with acoustically transparent foam, protects the drivers while maintaining acoustic integrity and providing a professional appearance.

With a frequency response range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) and a frequency range of 34 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), the AM7315/64 covers a wide spectrum of sound. The system has been designed for maximum output, with a peak SPL of 133 dB in tri-amp mode (127 dB in bi-amp mode), ensuring it can handle large spaces and demanding sound reinforcement applications. The system sensitivity is 108 dB SPL (1W @ 1m) in bi-amp mode, providing high output with minimal distortion.
