For high output and low distortion, the AWC129 features a high-temperature 75 mm voice coil and fluid-cooled 1-inch compression driver. This system can be powered with a 200W multi-tap 70V/100V transformer or as a direct 8-ohm low-impedance speaker. With a long-term system power rating of 400W (1600W peak), it delivers high sensitivity and maximum SPL of 122 dB continuous (128 dB peak). The high-frequency protection is provided by JBL's SonicGuard overload protection, ensuring a reliable and durable performance across extended periods.
