At the core of the CBT 1000E is a system of six high-excursion 165 mm (6.5 in) low-frequency drivers. These neodymium drivers feature 50 mm (2 in) voice coils and are optimized for high power handling (1500 W RMS, 6000 W peak). The drivers are designed with damped blended surrounds, ensuring smooth frequency response, while the coated diaphragms provide resistance to moisture, UV, and salt - making the CBT 1000E ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. The system's built-in crossover network allows it to seamlessly integrate with the CBT 1000, doubling the power handling and extending the low-frequency response of the overall system.

The CBT 1000E's combination of six LF drivers and a sophisticated crossover network works in tandem with the CBT 1000 to deliver superior sound coverage and an even distribution of sound across the listening area. This is achieved through Constant Beamwidth Technology (CBT), which ensures that the vertical and horizontal patterns of the sound field are consistent and free of the typical beaming or lobing effects associated with traditional column loudspeakers. The CBT 1000E extends the low-frequency range of the CBT 1000 system, allowing for powerful bass response that extends down to 38 Hz, and improving overall SPL levels for a more immersive listening experience.

The system provides a frequency range of 38 Hz - 650 Hz with a sensitivity of 92 dB full space and 98 dB half-space in the critical low-frequency range (65 Hz - 300 Hz). The maximum SPL is 124 dB in full space and up to 130 dB in half-space, with a peak SPL of 137 dB, offering plenty of headroom for large venues. The integration of the CBT 1000E with the CBT 1000 creates a well-controlled progressive line array with asymmetrical vertical coverage. This configuration enables the system to provide more sound to the farthest areas of the room, delivering consistent SPL levels from front to back. This results in better intelligibility and a more even sound distribution across the entire audience area.

The CBT 1000E's compact size (80.4 in tall, 9.9 in wide) and aesthetic design fit well into any architectural setting, while the heavy-duty aluminum grille ensures durability and rust-free performance even when installed outdoors. The loudspeaker also features an adjustable, two-piece swivel (pan)/tilt wall bracket that allows for precise aiming of the speaker to achieve optimal coverage. The bracket enables a continuous 45° left-right swivel and offers a range of 1.25° to 5.25° of tilt, providing maximum flexibility for installation in different acoustic environments.

The CBT 1000E is designed for easy installation with M8 threaded inserts for secure mounting. The included coupler plate facilitates attachment to the CBT 1000, and optional mounting accessories (including flush-mount and offset brackets, as well as suspension brackets) further enhance installation flexibility. Additionally, the system includes optional terminal panel covers for a clean, finished installation.
