The JBL Professional Control 67HC/T is a high-output, full-range pendant-type loudspeaker designed to deliver superior sound reproduction in large open-ceiling environments. This two-way loudspeaker incorporates JBL's exclusive Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology, which ensures extremely consistent sound coverage with a narrow 75° dispersion pattern. Ideal for spaces with high ceilings or challenging acoustics, such as convention centers, hotels, atriums, museums, and transit centers, the Control 67HC/T offers excellent clarity and intelligibility for both speech and music applications. The advanced RBI technology integrates a large 295 mm (11.6 in) diameter waveguide with low-frequency projection apertures, enabling uniform sound coverage for an optimal listening experience in every part of the room.

Designed for flexibility and ease of installation, the Control 67HC/T comes with a single-point mounting system and includes two complete hanging cable systems, which provide secure suspension and simple height adjustments. The included 4.5-meter (15 feet) high-tensile galvanized steel wire ropes are fitted with spring clips for easy attachment to the loudspeaker, and Gripple adjustable cable fasteners allow for precise height control. This loudspeaker is housed in a high-impact polystyrene enclosure with a zinc-plated steel grille, ensuring durability and protection in various environmental conditions. The IP44 splashproof rating and the high-quality, weather-resistant components make it an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications, with rubber boots included to protect the input connectors.

At the heart of the Control 67HC/T lies a 165 mm (6.5 in) low-frequency driver with a polypropylene-coated paper cone and pure butyl rubber surround, paired with a 25 mm (1 in) textile soft-dome high-frequency driver. Together, these drivers offer smooth, extended frequency response from 110 Hz to 16 kHz, ensuring clear, detailed sound across a broad spectrum. The coaxial configuration allows for seamless integration of low and high frequencies, resulting in uniform coverage and minimal distortion. The high-sensitivity design (93 dB) provides excellent sound pressure levels, with a rated maximum SPL of 118 dB peak at 1 meter, making the Control 67HC/T suitable for large, acoustically challenging venues.

The Control 67HC/T is equipped with a high-performance 60W multi-tap transformer for use in 70V/100V distributed loudspeaker systems. The transformer can be switched to 8-ohm direct operation for traditional low-impedance configurations. The loudspeaker also features euro-style clip-in connectors for easy wiring and quick installation. Optional accessories, such as the MTC-PC60HC top panel / terminal cover, are available for additional protection in harsh environments, further enhancing the speaker's durability and performance in demanding installations.
