The speaker incorporates a 5.25-inch CMMD ceramic metal matrix diaphragm woofer for durability, humidity resistance, and high output. Two splayed 0.75-inch fluid-cooled tweeters with CMMD-treated aluminum diaphragms and neodymium magnets provide smooth high-frequency response and reduced thermal compression. The advanced crossover network, with a 3rd-order high-pass filter at 1.6 kHz for the tweeters and a 2nd-order low-pass filter for the woofer, ensures seamless integration and high-fidelity sound reproduction across a wide frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz.

The Control HST features a 60W multi-tap transformer for 70V/100V systems, with selectable taps of 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W, as well as an 8-ohm direct setting for maximum flexibility in installation. Its fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure and painted aluminum grille ensure durability and resistance to environmental conditions, including humidity, salt spray, and UV exposure. The included U-bracket spaces the speaker at the optimal distance from the wall for proper sound dispersion, while additional mounting points provide secondary safety attachment options.
