Equipped with 28 custom-designed 4-inch full-range drivers and 8 horn-loaded 1-inch dome tweeters, this powered column loudspeaker ensures precise vertical beam control and expansive horizontal coverage of 130 degrees. Engineered for optimal sound clarity, it is capable of maintaining even sound pressure levels across distances up to 70 meters, making it ideal for large-scale venues such as auditoriums, houses of worship, and transportation hubs.

The DSX500's advanced DDS (Digital Directivity Synthesis) technology enables highly customizable vertical beam shaping, ensuring exceptional speech intelligibility even in challenging acoustic conditions. The 16-channel class-D amplifier and sophisticated switched-mode power supply deliver reliable and efficient performance, while the integrated 32-bit DSP provides extensive signal processing capabilities, including delay, parametric EQ, and automatic volume control. With eight user-definable presets, remote monitoring, and control via RS-485 and JBL's proprietary WinControl software, the DSX500 is designed for seamless integration and ease of use in complex installations.
