JBL VTX A12 SB - Steel Suspension Bar for VTX A12 in Black Finish

The JBL Professional VTX A12 SB is a versatile and lightweight suspension bar designed for use with the VTX A12 series loudspeakers. This accessory is ideal for both array frame and pull-back applications, offering enhanced flexibility when suspending VTX A12 arrays. When used for pull-back, the VTX A12 SB can be attached to the bottom of an array and connected to a rear suspension point. This setup allows for greater downtilt angles than what is achievable using the VTX A12 AF alone, ensuring precise aiming of the array for optimal sound coverage. The VTX A12 SB can also be mounted to the top cabinet of the array and used as a compact array frame, connecting to the rear rigging points to provide additional support and control of the array's downtilt angle. The downtilt is determined by the number of cabinets in the array and its specific geometry, and JBL's Line Array Calculator software is used to help calculate the correct angle.

Two VTX A12 SB bars can be used in a dual-point suspension configuration, with one bar at the top of the array and another at the bottom, providing even more aiming flexibility and control over the array's positioning. This suspension bar is compatible with a 5/8-inch shackle size and supports up to 18 VTX A12 enclosures, with the maximum mechanical limit being 18 enclosures.
