One of the standout features of the SR-40-22 is its ability to pivot open 90 degrees on a sturdy floor base. This pivoting design allows for quick and convenient access to rear equipment connections without the need for an aisle behind the rack, making it particularly valuable in space-constrained installations. This feature is essential for environments where easy access to rear connections is necessary for maintenance, upgrades, or troubleshooting.

The SR-40-22 is now Forward and Lever Lock compatible, enhancing its capacity to accommodate a wide range of tool-free accessories and mounting options. The Forward rackrail included with this model allows for the installation of Forward blank panels, vent panels, and horizontal cable management systems, significantly speeding up the installation process by up to five times compared to traditional methods. The integration of the patented Lever Lock system further enhances flexibility by allowing internal device and cable management accessories to be installed without hardware, both in the center section and the backpan (with LL-DWR/SR-BP).

Installation is made simple and efficient with the patented Tool Free Quick-Mount system, which allows the center section to be mounted to the backpan with ease. This feature reduces the time and effort required to set up the rack, making it ideal for professionals who need to deploy racks quickly and efficiently.

The SR-40-22 also offers additional rackspaces for enhanced functionality. There are four bonus rackspaces in the base for mounting a UPS or other essential equipment, as well as three additional rackspaces at the top for patching or mounting small equipment. The center section's rear channel is designed to accommodate optional slim power solutions, including the Select Vertical PDU with RackLink, optimizing the use of space within the rack.

As the industry's first seismic-rated wall rack series, the SR-40-22 is designed to deliver tip and vibration resistance, making it suitable for installations in areas where seismic stability is desired or required. The rack's flexible cable entry options at the top, bottom, and sides, along with additional knockouts for electrical boxes and fans, ensure that all cabling and power needs can be easily managed and routed.
