Rated to IEC 529 IP 45 for ingress protection, the enclosure and grille can withstand solid object penetration and water jets from any direction. For outdoor applications, the input section consists of a 4-position barrier strip and includes a weather cover with an integral gland nut connector that is rated NEMA 6P (IP 68). This connector can accommodate cable diameters ranging from 7mm to 12mm, making it suitable for most 2-conductor AWG 12 cable assemblies.
The 212.HC is equipped with multiple M10 rigging points, allowing for versatile installation options, including suspension using the PM4/M pole mount system or the PT76/M pan and tilt system for flat surface mounting. An optional U-bracket, the 112HTH-U/M, is also available for added mounting flexibility.
