The Quasar Science Q25R2 X2/2X2BS is a complete 2-foot 2-bank lighting system built around two powerful Q25R2 Rainbow 2 RGBX LED tubes, housed in a rugged black 2-bank shell with integrated Ossium Mounting Plate. Designed for motion picture and broadcast professionals, this system combines flexibility, power, and precision in a compact dual-tube configuration that runs from a single 120V power source using the included TRUE1 Multibank Power Adapter. The shell helps articulate and control spill while providing a reliable rigging structure for both lights using the included Baby Pin and Q-Blocks. Ideal for lighting talent or environments, the Q25R2 tubes provide industry-leading color science, smooth multi-pixel dimming, and full-spectrum tunable white light from 1750K to 10000K.

Each Rainbow 2 LED tube utilizes Quasar's proprietary RGBX Spectral Science Color Engine, delivering over one billion available colors with exceptional rendering accuracy. Designed for the film and television industry, the fixture achieves CRI up to 95, TM30 up to 94, and SSI up to 91. High-efficiency LEDs and advanced pixel software allow artists to blend colors, simulate realistic motion effects, or control the tubes as a single unit or as independent pixels. The integrated Ossium Mounting System allows secure, streamlined rigging onto the shell or other OMS-compatible hardware for use in tight spaces or large-scale array builds. A fanless passive cooling design ensures completely silent operation on set.

This system supports extensive connectivity, both wired and wireless. Control can be managed locally using the onboard OLED display, or externally via DMX, sACN, and Art-Net protocols.
