At the core of the NXL 44-A MK2 is a 2,100W two-channel Class-D amplifier that provides superior power and efficiency. The amplifier is 50% more powerful than its predecessors, managing extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low power loss. The speaker's design is energy-efficient, and the amplifier is mounted to a solid aluminum heat exchanger, which eliminates the need for a cooling fan. The low-distortion input circuit, along with the advanced safety limiter, ensures the integrity of the input signal, preserving its true character even at high volumes. Additionally, the amplifier is designed according to EN62368-1 standards for maximum safety, with a lightweight Switch Mode Power Supply section.
