JBL VTX-V20 BP - Steel Base Plate for Ground Stacking VTX V20 in Black Finish

The JBL Professional VTX-V20 BP is a versatile and robust steel base plate designed to enable ground stacking of VTX V20 arrays on top of compatible subwoofers or other support structures, such as stages, scaffolding, or carts. This universal adapter frame is engineered to securely attach VTX V20 cabinets to subwoofers equipped with a standard M20 pole mount adapter, such as the VTX B28 or VTX S25. By using the included M20 screw, the VTX V20 BP connects directly to the bottom of the V20 array, offering a solid and reliable foundation for both temporary and permanent installations.

The base plate allows for precise angle adjustments between -15 degrees and -2.5 degrees, ensuring optimal positioning of the array for the best sound coverage. When the base plate is used with subwoofers, the VTX V20 cabinets can be securely mounted, while still offering flexibility in terms of vertical array aiming. In situations where subwoofers are not used, the four M10 through-holes located at the corners of the base plate allow the VTX V20 array to be permanently attached to other support structures. This makes the VTX V20 BP a versatile tool for various installation setups and configurations.

The base plate's high-grade steel construction, coated with an anti-corrosion finish, ensures durability and long-term performance in challenging environments. Its lightweight design makes it easy to handle, while still offering robust support for up to six VTX V20 enclosures, with the maximum safe load supporting one VTX V20. Additionally, configurations and load conditions for using the VTX V20 BP can be accurately determined using JBL's LAC-3 prediction software application, ensuring that the system is rigged safely and effectively.
