The Soundcraft LX7ii 24 is a versatile 24-channel, 7-bus analog mixing console that combines professional live sound mixing capabilities with essential recording features. Designed for small venues, community centers, and bands needing a reliable, multi-purpose desk for both live performances and studio recording, the LX7ii 24 offers powerful functionality in a compact and rugged frame. With its GB30 mic preamps, precision equalization circuitry, and flexible routing options, this console provides superior sound quality, easy operation, and the durability to withstand regular use in demanding environments.

The LX7ii 24 is equipped with 24 mono input channels, each featuring Soundcraft's acclaimed GB30 mic preamp, which delivers up to 60dB of gain and 22dBu of headroom, ensuring pristine audio quality and dynamic range. The inputs also feature a 4-band EQ section with two swept mid-frequency controls, providing fine-tuned control over your mix. Each mono input is fitted with an 18dB/octave high-pass filter to eliminate unwanted low frequencies, such as stage rumble or wind noise. In addition, four of the six auxiliary sends are pre/post fader switchable in pairs, allowing for flexible monitor and effects routing.

This console's true 7-bus architecture provides 13 separate bus outputs, including a stereo mix output, four group outputs, a dedicated mono output for subwoofer feeds or center clusters, and six auxiliary outputs. Each channel includes a direct output for easy integration into recording setups, making the LX7ii 24 perfect for both live performances and multi-track recording sessions. The aux sends can be configured for pre- or post-fader operation, offering flexibility for both foldback-heavy performances and effects processing.

The LX7ii 24 includes two stereo input channels with EQ, making it ideal for handling stereo sources such as keyboards or playback devices. The console also features two stereo returns, which are perfect for integrating external effects processors. All inputs, including the stereo channels, can be routed to the group and mix outputs, ensuring they are fully integrated into the main mix. The group outputs are equipped with 12-segment LED meters for accurate signal monitoring, and each group includes an insert point for adding external processing to the signal chain.

The master section of the LX7ii 24 is highly versatile, offering a range of control and monitoring options. It includes talkback capability to all pre-fader auxiliaries and the mix output, making it easy to communicate with performers during a live show. Phantom power is provided in banks of four channels, allowing you to power condenser microphones as needed. The "two-track to mix" switch provides a convenient way to play pre-show music through the PA system, while the main mix is routed through a separate mono bus for venues with mono PA systems.

The LX7ii 24 is housed in a rugged, wedge-shaped steel chassis, ensuring durability and reliability in any live sound or studio environment. The console's all-metal jackfield and Neutrik XLR connectors provide professional-grade connections, while the built-in universal voltage, switched-mode power supply offers lightweight and efficient power delivery. The console's balanced inputs and outputs ensure a clean and noise-free signal throughout the system.

With its comprehensive feature set, intuitive layout, and excellent sound quality, the Soundcraft LX7ii 24 is a perfect choice for bands, small venues, and studios looking for a flexible and reliable mixing console.
