The Turbosound TQ15 is a powerful 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed to provide optimal performance in a wide range of sound reinforcement applications. With a continuous power handling of 550 watts and a peak power of 2,200 watts, this 15-inch loudspeaker system is ideal for both portable and fixed installations, including front-of-house (FOH), sidefill, and delay line applications. The TQ15 features a 15" neodymium low-frequency driver with a low mass voice coil, which improves transient response and overall performance. This driver is complemented by a 1.4" titanium dome high-frequency compression driver, paired with a Dendritic Plane Wave Transformer (DPWT) waveguide. The DPWT ensures superior high-frequency dispersion, offering a uniform response and minimal distortion. The compression driver is mounted onto an 80° horizontal by 30° vertical rotatable exponential horn, providing wide and precise coverage that can be adjusted to suit different acoustic environments. This combination of advanced driver technology and the DPWT waveguide results in a loudspeaker that delivers exceptional clarity and definition across the entire frequency range.

The TQ15's enclosure is constructed from 15mm (5/8") birch plywood, providing a durable yet lightweight build. The cabinet is finished in semi-matt black paint, offering a professional and sleek appearance that is well-suited for both touring and installation use. The rugged powder-coated perforated steel grille, wrapped in cloth, provides additional protection while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing look. The loudspeaker is also IP44-rated, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress, making it suitable for use in outdoor or harsh environments.

For installation flexibility, the TQ15 includes multiple threaded rigging points for suspension in any orientation or for mounting with industry-standard brackets. The loudspeaker is equipped with a dual 35mm pole mount, enabling easy and secure placement on speaker stands. The rear panel features two Neutrik speakON NL4 connectors for reliable, long-lasting connections. The TQ15 can be linked to additional enclosures, allowing for scalable sound reinforcement systems tailored to the specific needs of the venue.

The TQ15's frequency response spans from 52 Hz to 20 kHz (+3 dB) and extends down to 39 Hz (-10 dB), offering excellent low-end performance alongside clear, detailed high frequencies. With a sensitivity of 99.5 dB (1 W @ 1 m) and a maximum SPL of 139 dB, the TQ15 is capable of delivering high output levels with minimal distortion. The loudspeaker's impedance is 8 ohms, and it features an external passive crossover network for seamless integration with other components in the system.

The TQ15 works seamlessly with Lab Gruppen-powered loudspeaker management systems, offering optimal system control through a series of pre-configured presets designed to maximize performance. EASE GLL files are provided for use with EASE Focus 3 Acoustics Simulation Software, allowing for accurate calculation of coverage and suspension points to ensure precise system alignment.
