The Vinten Vector 750 is a flagship flat base fluid head designed for high-end studio and field broadcast production, supporting the most demanding camera systems with payloads up to 165.34 lbs. Built to deliver unmatched performance and operational flexibility, the Vector 750 excels in live broadcast environments, where heavy camera configurations and rapid rig rebalancing are the norm. Featuring a flat four-bolt base with Quickfix compatibility, this rugged, black-finished fluid head is engineered to accommodate a broad range of digital broadcast cameras, box lenses, talent monitors, and large teleprompters without compromising control or balance.
What sets the Vector 750 apart is its patented pantographic counterbalance mechanism - an innovative, mechanically linked system that eliminates the need for cams or springs. This design allows for fast, infinite adjustment of counterbalance settings, enabling seamless rebalancing as the camera configuration changes. The Perfect Balance system ensures consistent torque throughout the entire -52° to +52° tilt range, keeping even the heaviest payloads perfectly balanced without drift. With a wide center-of-gravity height range from 3 to 10 inches, the Vector 750 supports diverse camera setups while maintaining fluid, stable operation.
For motion control, the Vector 750 uses Vinten's TF (Thin Film) Drag system, delivering continuous pan and tilt resistance with outstanding precision and immediate whip pan recovery. Drag control is calibrated in nine increments, with backlit knobs positioned for intuitive access - drag on the left and counterbalance on the right. Pan and tilt brakes are located at the rear of the head for operator convenience. The integrated retractable "T" bar slide plate positioner provides 13 inches of platform adjustment, making fine balance tuning quick and tool-free, even with asymmetrical loads or forward-heavy setups.
Additional features include a blue LED-illuminated bubble level for fast leveling in low-light conditions, replaceable pan bar rosettes for long-term reliability, and a built-in carrying handle for transport between OB setups or studios. The included wedge adapter and single telescoping pan bar allow for flexible control, while the flat base can be optionally adapted to a Mitchell base if required. With a rugged die-cast build, generous platform dimensions, and intuitive operator-focused design, the Vector 750 sets a benchmark for heavy-duty broadcast camera support.
