The Yorkville EF12P is a high-performance, powered full-range loudspeaker designed for audio professionals, mobile DJs, rental houses, and live sound setups. This versatile speaker offers exceptional sound quality and robust performance for a variety of applications, from live stage and theater productions to DJ setups and events. Combining a powerful 12-inch neodymium woofer and a 3-inch titanium compression driver, the EF12P delivers a frequency response of 47 Hz to 16 kHz, with a maximum SPL of 131 dB peak, making it ideal for both small and large venues.
At the core of the EF12P is a bi-amp module that efficiently powers the 12" woofer with 900W (program) and the 3" compression driver with 300W (program). This powerful combination ensures loud, clear sound with impressive bass and crisp highs. The rear panel of the speaker provides a range of input and output options, including a combo XLR-1/4" line input, an 1/8" TRS line input, and an XLR mic input. The XLR thru output allows you to link additional EF12P speakers (up to 16) for larger setups.
The built-in DSP adds further versatility to the EF12P, offering four voicing modes - Club, Concert, Vocal, and User - that optimize EQ and dynamics for different types of performances. This DSP can be controlled via the free Yorkville control app, available for iOS and Android devices, making it easy to adjust settings on the fly. Additionally, the speaker features a Sub Mode that activates a 100 Hz high-pass filter for use with a subwoofer, further enhancing the low-end performance.
Designed for durability, the EF12P features an ABS-coated Baltic birch plywood enclosure and a perforated metal grille, ensuring the speaker can withstand the rigors of on-the-road use. The speaker is equipped with three handles for easy transport and flypoints for installation, making it suitable for both portable and fixed applications. Whether you're using it as a main PA or a monitor wedge, the EF12P delivers powerful, clean, and clear sound for a wide range of events.
