Equipped with twelve XLR mic inputs, ten mono 1/4" inputs, and two stereo 1/4" inputs, the VGM14 offers extensive connectivity to accommodate a variety of audio sources. Channels 9 and 10 feature Hi-Z switches, enabling the direct connection of instrument-level signals such as guitars or basses without the need for an external DI box. Each channel is equipped with a high-pass filter, mute and solo buttons, clip indicators, and a 60 mm fader for smooth control. Mono channels include a 3-band EQ with a sweepable midrange frequency, while stereo channels benefit from a 4-band EQ for precise tone shaping.

The 24-bit DSP engine offers 16 stereo effects algorithms, including reverb, delay, modulation, and more, with parameter control for each effect. Channels 1 through 10 feature built-in compression and insert points for greater dynamic control, while the 9-band graphic EQ on the main output allows you to fine-tune the total mix for optimal sound. The VGM14 also includes a dedicated zone or subwoofer output, making it perfect for multi-zone systems.

Additional features include multi-segment VU metering, global phantom power with LED indicators, RCA connections for easy integration of consumer AV equipment, and footswitch support to mute onboard effects. The global mute function provides convenience for quickly silencing input channels, while independent control of main, monitor, and headphone levels ensures flexibility in live sound applications. The VGM14 is housed in a sturdy steel chassis with an SMPS transformer, and features a 12V DC BNC console lamp connector for added convenience during dark environments.
