At the heart of the SRX815P are premium JBL transducers. This advanced compression driver uses a neodymium magnet, providing a lightweight, efficient, and powerful solution for producing crystal-clear highs with reduced distortion and increased phase coherence. For the low-end, the SRX815P uses a 15-inch woofer equipped with JBL's patented Differential Drive technology. The combination of dual ferrite drivers and 3-inch voice coils ensures the SRX815P produces deep, accurate bass while maintaining high output levels.

This system includes 20 parametric equalizers (PEQs), 2 seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixing, amplifier monitoring, and 50 slots for recallable presets. Seven JBL-engineered application presets are provided to optimize the speaker for various performance environments. The SRX815P is also compatible with V5 JBL tunings, 96kHz FIR filters, and LevelMax Limiting, providing compatibility with JBL's flagship Vertec and VTX touring systems. Control of the system is available via JBL's Audio Architect software and a standalone app for iOS and Android, while simple wired control can be achieved through an Ethercon connector. Wireless control is possible via any standard off-the-shelf wireless router, offering users complete flexibility and control over their sound system.
