The speaker features three JBL 2408J Annular Ring Diaphragm HF drivers, representing the latest advancements in JBL's compression driver technology, designed to deliver clear, high-performance high frequencies. These drivers are mounted on a Constant Curvature waveguide, ensuring coherent, uninterrupted acoustic output across the array as additional VRX932LA-1 units are added, effectively creating a continuous waveguide that enhances array coherence.

By adjusting the array configuration, users can direct sound to the rear of a room with the upper boxes in the array and prevent excessive sound levels at the front with the lower boxes. This capability ensures uniform coverage and minimizes distortion. The VRX932LA-1 can be used in arrays of up to six units, offering a nominal vertical coverage of up to 90°. The system can also be mounted on a tripod or over subwoofers, thanks to the dual-angle pole socket that provides flexible aiming options for both stationary and dynamic configurations.
