The AC18/95-WH features a 1-inch exit compression driver integrated with a newly designed 90° x 50° rotatable PT (Progressive Transition) waveguide, ensuring smooth, consistent coverage throughout the intended listening area. This combination allows for even distribution of sound and a smooth power response that results in natural voicing and clarity across a wide frequency range. The speaker is equipped with an 8-inch Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG) low-frequency transducer, which features a copper-clad aluminum edge-wound 2.5-inch voice coil. This design helps to reduce voice coil inductance and distortion, providing enhanced low-frequency performance while maintaining clarity and efficiency in high-output situations.

To ensure long-lasting durability, the AC18/95-WH comes with a rugged multi-ply hardwood enclosure featuring JBL's textured DuraFlex finish. The speaker is designed for installation in various configurations, including under balconies and columns, and is equipped with attachment points for optional U-brackets, third-party OmniMount type brackets, and a stand mount accessory. The sturdy construction includes a powder-coated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam backing, ensuring that the speaker is well-protected without sacrificing sound quality.

The speaker offers a wide frequency response from 63 Hz to 19 kHz (±3 dB), with a frequency range of 52 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB), making it an excellent choice for a wide variety of professional audio applications.
