The JBL Professional AC25 is an ultra-compact, full-range 2-way passive loudspeaker designed for high-performance sound reinforcement in both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations. Ideal for installations where space is at a premium, the AC25 offers maximum bandwidth and SPL in a visually unobtrusive package. It is an excellent choice for applications such as under-balcony, column, or wall mounting, where compact size, efficient sound coverage, and minimal visual impact are essential. The loudspeaker features dual 5.25-inch Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG) low-frequency transducers, providing exceptional bass response with minimal distortion, while a 1-inch dome tweeter integrated into a newly designed 90° x 90° waveguide ensures even coverage across the intended usage area.

The AC25's advanced design incorporates JBL's Filtered Array Technology (FAT), which independently controls the dual woofers for improved magnitude and phase response, resulting in smoother power response and more consistent coverage. The high-frequency dome tweeter, combined with the 90° x 90° waveguide, delivers clear, crisp high frequencies with excellent directivity. With a frequency range of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, the AC25 produces well-balanced sound across a wide spectrum, ensuring high-fidelity performance for a variety of applications. The AC25 is housed in a rugged 12 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood enclosure with JBL's textured DuraFlex finish, providing durability and acoustic integrity in both indoor and outdoor installations. It is equipped with M8 mounting points (four on the top, bottom, and rear) to facilitate easy installation with the optional MTU-25 U-bracket or other mounting accessories, such as OmniMount type brackets. The speaker is also fitted with a heavy-duty powder-coated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam backing (or grille cloth backing on white units) to protect the drivers while maintaining optimal sound clarity.

With a system nominal impedance of 16 ohms and a rated maximum power of 450W program (900W peak), the AC25 is capable of handling demanding audio applications while maintaining clarity and reliability. The speaker's AES-rated power handling is 300W, ensuring it can handle long periods of use in various installations, from small venues to larger spaces that require unobtrusive but powerful audio reinforcement.
