At the heart of the VX 8.2-WH is Tannoy's Dual Concentric driver technology, which integrates both the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers into a single point-source design. The 200 mm (8") low-frequency driver delivers extended bass response, while the dual driver configuration helps improve low-mid extension for a fuller, richer sound. The speaker's trapezoidal enclosure design allows for versatile placement options, including mounting atop a subwoofer with the provided blanking plate for VTH pole mounting. Additionally, the VX 8.2-WH supports horizontal and vertical mounting yokes (available separately), as well as Omnimount inserts for wall and ceiling installations, ensuring flexibility to suit any environment. The speaker is built with a vented and internally braced plywood construction, providing enhanced durability and sound quality. Finished in a hard-wearing semi-matte white paint, it blends seamlessly into various environments, while the rugged powder-coated perforated steel mesh grille protects the speaker during use and transport.

To ensure secure and reliable connections, the VX 8.2-WH features Neutrik speakON NL4 and barrier strip connectors for input and link connections to additional enclosures.
